Google Research tackles state of the art research across ML/AI, robotics, theory and algorithms, quantum computing, health, bioscience, and much more. The team at Across The Pond was approached to concept and produce an episodic web series—called Research Bytes—focusing on the research and innovations of PaLM 2—Google’s next generation large language model that’s capable of complex reasoning, multilingual translation, and coding.

I led and oversaw the art direction for the series launch, overseeing design, on-set production, and motion graphics. The final output features floating modules and windows resembling research papers and folders, all animated against an abstract desktop backdrop.
